Weld Test – 2-inch sch. 160 carbon, tig root, hot pass, stick out
Duration:
April 30 to May 2
24 hours (2 – 12 hour shifts)
Compensation:
Per Diem – None
No travel reimbursement
Hourly wage:
Welder / Fitter – $22 to $28 per hour
Experienced Helper – $13 – 15 per hour
Supervisor (Journeyman) – $28 – $30
In and Out Pay of $550 (welders and fitters only):
• Start (“In”): $300- includes time testing, training, and all non-production time.
• End (“Out”): $250- only given if worker completes the project. He or she cannot be removed from the job for cause and receive this.
